With coronavirus being a medical threat around the world, it is not only important to wash your hands, but you should also clean your phone, laptop, and other gadgets. We are sharing practical tips on how to do this easily and effectively.
Why should I disinfect my phone?
The smartphone you are currently holding most likely has 20 times more germs than a toilet seat. A phone on average has around 25,000 germs per square inch, compared to the 1,200 germs on a toilet seat. Your screen time is probably much higher during this period, so be especially careful to make sure the screen is clean.
What do I need?
Since disinfectant alcohol wipes are currently hard to find, you can build your own homemade alternative. All you will need is:
70% Isopropyl Alcohol
How should I do it?
Here are the simple steps that you should repeat at least twice per day:
In a 1:1 ratio, mix the alcohol and water into a spray bottle.
Use the cotton swabs with the mixture to clean the buttons and speakers.
Spray the mixture onto the microfiber cloth without getting it too wet.
Wipe the phone thoroughly and leave it to dry.
Wash the cloth and wash your hands.
You can use these tips to clean your laptop, mouse, charger, headphones, and other devices around your home.
